SPHERE and Michael Page have joined forces to develop and run the ‘Talent Pool’, an initiative designed to identify, nurture and connect future talent within the Swiss financial centre. The project will be officially launched in early September 2026 with an initial selection of ten high-potential young professionals, all graduates of the top Swiss and European universities and business schools. The Talent Pool forms part of Sphere Lab, SPHERE’s NextGen platform dedicated to the generational shifts currently taking place in the financial services sector.

Through this Talent Pool, SPHERE and Michael Page aim to create a genuine talent pool for
private banks, independent wealth managers, multi-family offices, asset managers, institutional investors and wealthtech firms operating in the Swiss market. Against a backdrop of a historic wealth transfer, with nearly 85,000 billion dollars set to be passed on to Gen Z, Millennials and Gen X by 2048, the need for generational renewal in the Swiss financial centre has indeed become strategic.

“The financial services sector has entered a phase of quite radical transformation. Its players must attract new talent, but they also need to build more effective bridges with new generations of clients who have very different expectations, behaviours and habits. “Through Talent Pool, we aim to help create and sustain this new dynamic,” explain Souad Dous and Jérôme Sicard, the founders of SPHERE.

The platform will provide high visibility for the young talent selected through profiles, interviews, editorial content and video formats distributed across SPHERE’s various channels. For its part, Michael Page will contribute its recognised expertise in specialist recruitment and talent acquisition within the financial services sector, as well as its ability to identify, assess and support high-potential candidates.

“The financial services sector in Switzerland must now undertake a genuine renewal of its skills and profiles to remain in step with its environment. However, the new generations are entering the market with expectations, career paths and attitudes towards work, technology and their careers that are challenging established norms. “With Talent Pool, the aim is precisely to facilitate more effective connections between these future talents and key players in the Swiss financial centre, in order to meet both the candidates’ ambitions and the recruitment challenges faced by employers,” explain Julie Guittard and Mathieu Raynot of Michael Page.

Beyond simply connecting candidates with employers, Talent Pool aims to better organise exchanges between young talent and key players in the Swiss financial sector. Ultimately, SPHERE and Michael Page hope to make it the obvious starting point for those looking to pursue a career in finance in Switzerland.
